NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A car crashed into the Baja’s in North Providence Wednesday night.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. at the Baja’s on Mineral Spring Avenue.

According to the store manager, the car was driven by what she described as an older woman and crashed into the store front after the driver lost control trying to park.

The manager said the driver was taken to the hospital. Two employees were inside the store at the time, but they were not injured.

The store closed for the rest of the evening, but is expected to reopen Thursday, according to the manager.

ABC 6 News has reached out to North Providence police for further information.
