Driver crashes into car wash in Johnston

JOHNSTON, RI (WLNE) – Police are investigating an incident at a car wash on Killingly Street in Johnston where witnesses say a driver tried to run over another individual.

Police are still investigating the incident but have arrested a juvenile with reckless driving and disorderly conduct.

Amos Ross, 28, was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

 

According to witnesses, the driver crashed into the building of Personal Touch Car Wash and Oil Change.

Witness also say shortly after the driver smashed the car into the car wash, a brawl broke out.

No injuries were reported and the building didn’t suffer any damage, according to police.

Police say additional charges are pending.
