A homeowner in Cranston got quite the wake up call early Monday morning when a car slammed right into his house on Norton Avenue.

The car came speeding into the man's bedroom shortly after 1 a.m.

The homeowner says his bed was just a few feet away when the car came plunging inside narrowly missing him. The vehicle crushed his windows and pushed in the walls.

The driver identified as 21-year-old Randy Salguiero of Cranston was arrested following the crash and charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal  to submit to a chemical test, operating a vehicle without evidence of insurance, and lane violations.

Neither the homeowner, nor the driver were injured.
