Car crashes into CVS in Glocester

GLOCESTER, R.I. (WLNE) — The CVS in Glocester is temporarily closed after a car crashed into it Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened just before 3 p.m. in front of the pharmacy on Putnam Pike.
An ABC 6 News crew saw police still at the store at 7 p.m. and crews working to fix the damage to the front of the store.
Police told residents if they need a prescription within the next 48 hours to contact their doctor to have it prescribed at a nearby store.
The CVS locations in Greenville and Pascoag remain open.
