Car crashes into Fall River business

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A car crashed into a storefront in Fall River on Tuesday night.

ABC 6 News crews were on the scene when a Mazda SUV was being removed from the façade of a building at 936 South Main Street.

Police did not give a possible cause for the crash but said two cars were involved.

The SUV sustained significant damage to its front end and glass from the business’ windows covered the sidewalk. A street sign was also knocked down in the area.

Bricks in the front of the store also sustained damage. First responders were investigating the structure as the car was towed from the scene.

Information regarding injuries was not immediately available.
