Car crashes into restaurant in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A car drove into a restaurant in Providence on Saturday morning.

Police tape lined the entrance to El Eden Restaurant on Chalkstone Avenue.

An ABC 6 News crew saw the entire front window was removed.

A repair worker hired by the owners told ABC 6 that the crash occurred around 8 a.m.

It was unknown if anyone was hurt.

The crash is under investigation.
