After pleading guilty last
week in order to escape the death penalty, today Ariel Castro will learn how
much time he'll spend behind bars.

His sentence is expected to
be lengthy – life plus 1,000 years – for holding three young Cleveland women captive for about a decade.

Overnight, prosecutors released
new details of the victims' ordeal in a memo before sentencing. Amanda Berry,
Gina Dejesus and Michelle Knight were chained in their rooms, given access only
to plastic toilets that were rarely emptied.

He also forced one of the
women to miscarry numerous times after she got pregnant. We're expecting to
hear from that victim – Michelle Knight – during his sentencing.

Castro will also have a
chance to explain his crimes.
