CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Man crawls through Warwick restaurant trying to steal cash register

*** Attempt to ID – Top of the Bay Burglar ***Top of the Bay Restaurant, 895 Oakland Beach Ave., was recently the victim of two Breaking & Entering incidents that occurred on 6/28/20 and 7/5/20 between the hours of 0145 and 0245 hours. The same suspect can be seen on video surveillance crawling through the business and taking the cash register. The suspect appears to be a male, wearing a tank top, blue jeans, a tan belt and white sneakers. He appears to have a tattoo on his left forearm/wrist and right inside forearm area. WARWICK, RI (WLNE) –  Police in Warwick are trying to find a man that was caught on camera trying to steal a cash register at the Top of the Bay restaurant.

Police say Top of the Bay Restaurant, located at 895 Oakland Beach Ave, was recently the victim of two Breaking and Entering incidents on June 28 and July 5 between 1:45 a.m. and 2:45 a.m.

The same suspect can be seen on surveillance crawling through the business and taking the cash register, police say.

Police say the suspect is a man, wearing a tank top, blue jeans, a tan belt, and white sneakers.

He appears to have a tattoo on his left forearm, wrist, and right inside forearm area, according to police.
