CCTV captures flames erupting from Harborside Inn on Block Island
NEW SHOREHAM, R.I. (WLNE) — CCTV footage obtained by ABC 6 News shows the moment a fire broke out that decimated the historic Harborside Inn on Block Island.
The video from Aldo Leone shows an adjacent street facing the inn at around 11:30 p.m., Friday night.
Flames can be seen erupting from one of the inn’s walls and begin spreading upward.
Nobody was injured in the fire but some 60 hotel guests are displaced and the building was deemed a total loss.
