CDC Director to throw first pitch at Fenway Park
BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) – Center for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky will throw the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park on Saturday.
It will be the first game at full capacity in Fenway Park since the start of the pandemic.
Before she was appointed CDC Director, Walensky was the Chief of Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital.
The Red Sox will play the Marlins.
