Celebration held for redevelopment of Central Falls Landing

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — A celebration will be held Tuesday for the redevelopment of Central Falls Landing.

The public landing is located Blackstone River at the corner of Broad Street and Madeira Avenue.

The area provides recreational access — including kayaking and canoeing — to residents in the city.

Central Falls Mayor Maria Rivera and Gov. Dan McKee will join partners involved in the project at 5 p.m.
