Chafee, Caprio in a Dead Heat in Latest Poll
Treasurer Frank Caprio and former Senator Lincoln Chafee are neck-and-neck in the RI Governor's race, according to the latest poll numbers released by Rasmussen.
Regardless of who enters the fray as the Republican candidate, the two remain within just a few percentage points of one another, with a roughly ten-point lead over both possible Republican challengers, John Robitaille and Victor Moffit.
Caprio has gained significant ground since the last round of polling.
Attorney General Patrick Lynch continues to lag behind Chafee, although Rasmussen hasn't pitted Caprio and Lynch head-to-head in a poll yet. Moderate Party candidate Ken Block was also not included in the poll.
