Chilly Start to Easter Sunday
Tonight will be dry, but it will become cold as low temperatures drop into the 20s.
Easter sunrise services at 6:16 am will be quite chilly indeed with temps just shy of 30. With sunshine all day, temperatures will come up quickly into the lower-50s and winds will be light from the north.
We are heading into a prolonged dry stretch this coming week with a warm up by weeks’ end. Expect sun-filled days and warming temperatures topping out near 70 by Tuesday and even warmer for Thursday. Tuesday and Wednesday will also be bone-dry and we could revisit fire weather conditions both days. By Friday temperatures will be downright summery with highs in the lower-80s possible. The record high for Friday is 83 from 1945 and we have a real good chance of at least tying it.
