Chilly temperatures settling into the area

Still storm-free

Waking up much cooler than the last few morning, but actually around average for this time of year! Average lows are in the low 20s and that’s where we are starting the day. Today looks like a partly sunny day with seasonable afternoon highs, expect temperatures to top out in the mid to upper 30s. Once again, a few flurries possible but overall a dry day. It will also be a bit breezy which makes us feel even cooler. Tonight will be clear and cool with lows in the upper 20s.

Friday will be a few degrees warmer with highs in the low to mid 40s. A mix of sun and clouds with the outside chance of a few flurries or snow squalls possible once again. Overnight we clear out and cool down with lows dipping down into the 20s.

The weekend looks cold! Saturday will be mainly sunny with highs only in the upper 20s and low 30s. On top of the already cold temperatures, the breeze will be picking up as the day goes on which will keep us feeling even cooler. Overnight we have our coldest air we’ve seen in some time, lows will dip down into the teens but with the wind many spots will feel closer to 0°! Sunday stays sunny but cold and windy with highs in the low 30s.

We stay cold into the start of next week with morning temperatures on Monday in the teens. Seasonable into the afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 30s. We look to stay quiet weather-wise on Monday. Tuesday there may be a chance of some snow, but there is no agreement within our model data for that potential right now, so stay informed ON-AIR, on the ABC6 app or here on ABC6.com for more details.
