Tree Lightings


Providence is set to hold a lighting ceremony for the 35-foot Christmas tree on display at City Hall on Saturday, December 3rd at 6pm.


Fall River will hold its annual tree lighting at Government Center, South Main Street side on Sunday, December 4th at 4:30pm.


St. Patrick's Parish in conjunction with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence will host a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Prayer Service on Tuesday, December 6th at 5:30 p.m. at 244 Smith Street in Providence. 

Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee and First Lady Stephanie Chafee will host the annual State House holiday tree lighting in the State House Rotunda on Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. All Rhode Islanders are invited to attend and see the 17-foot Colorado Blue Spruce lit for the first time.
