Church in East Providence collects donations for Ukrainian refugees
EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — An East Providence church collected donations for Ukrainian refugees Saturday morning.
Organizers at the Second Baptist Church of East Providence said that the drive was held between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Donations included non-perishable food, hygiene supplies, clothes, and sleeping bags. However, organizers said that they are still looking for two sets of industrial washers and dryers.
