Citizens bank employee tests presumptive positive for coronavirus

JOHNSTON, R.I (WLNE) – According to a spokesperson for Citizens Bank, an employee of the Johnston campus tested presumptive positive for coronavirus.

Peter Lucht, the spokesperson for Citizens bank, the bank was notified of this case on Wednesday and the employee is currently working with their healthcare provider.

All branches are thoroughly cleaned, following the protocols laid out by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

Lucht said that all employees that may have been in contact with the person were asked to self-quarantine, and there is no other presumptive case from the bank.

NOTE: A presumptive positive case needs to be sampled and confirmed by the CDC to be a confirmed case.
