Store clerk shot in Cranston released from hospital

The Cranston convenience store clerk who was shot on the job has been released from the hospital.

The clerk underwent at least two emergency surgeries after he was shot six times at close range while working at the Bestway gas station on Park Avenue in Cranston last week.

His family says that he is doing much better but is still in severe pain.

Police are still looking for the man who shot him. He was last seen the night of the shooting wearing all black and a skeleton mask.
