Clouds are on the increase, followed by rain chances Friday night into Saturday

Thursday Night: Increasing clouds, seasonably cool.

Thursday Night

Friday: Mostly cloudy, chance of showers late as a low pressure system passes just south of our region.

For now, it looks like that area of low pressure passes just close enough to put our area right on the edge of the rain late Friday into Saturday.  However, this is a very close call (see image below).  If the low pulls farther south than models currently predict, the showers may disappear from the forecast.  Conversely, if it moves just a few miles north than model projections, we’d be looking at heavier rain.  Stay tuned.

Sunday-Monday: Mix of sun and clouds, highs near 60.  Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, still cool.  Wednesday: Mild and dry with a mix of sun and clouds.  Thursday: Warmer and dry.
