Clouds, Fog, Rain and Snow this Week
Get ready for lots and lots of clouds. Tonight we will have cloudy to mostly cloudy skies but conditions will be dry. As we near dawn Tuesday, patchy fog is likely to develop and could make a slower early commute. Rain will develop after noon and last through the late commute. As a result, this too, will likely be a slow drive with wet roads. This round of rain is due to a warm front which will drive temperatures to near 60 Wednesday. The warm front will be followed by a cold front Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will drop quickly behind this front and rain will continue into Thursday. Showers will linger through Thursday and Friday but with colder air now in place, we cannot rule out the chance of snow. The most likely time if we see it will be Thursday night through Friday morning as lows drop to near 32 and again Friday night as temperatures drop again. Confidence in this end of week scenario involving snow is low as of now, but certainly bears watching.
