Clouds Hang Tough Thursday, Cold Front Brings Storms Friday

The front also clears things out for the weekend

Providence, RI (WLNE) – Sunshine was at a premium again Wednesday, as Southern New England was shrouded in clouds for the second day in a row.

We will repeat things again on Thursday, also dealing with some morning fog and drizzle. Temps will run cool once again, only in the 70s.

A cold front approaches from the west on Friday, which will spark off showers and storms throughout the day – but at least we may get some sun!

A few storms could be on the stronger side. We will fine tune any severe threats tomorrow.

By Friday evening, things quiet down and the humidity will fall off a cliff – expect a taste of fall into Friday night and Saturday morning!

Excellent weather Saturday with highs in the upper 70s, a few clouds may spin in during the PM hours. Sunday looks sunny and warmer with highs in the 80s.

Have a great night!
