PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Club Fantasies was allowed re-open Wednesday after a investigation into a gun shot heard inside the men’s bathroom.

Police were called to Club Fantasies on Sims Avenue on Monday for reports of shots fired.  The Business Manager told police that while sitting in the lounge, he heard what he believed to be a gunshot from the men’s restroom. Within seconds of hearing the shot he saw a man leave the restroom and exit the club.

Police found one spent shell casing on the bathroom floor.

Police have identified the man who fled the scene, and retrieved the weapon. Board of Licenses President Dylan Conely told ABC6 it appeared to be an accidental discharge.
