NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) – Two years after burning down, Coffee and Cream is getting ready to open a new location.

The local staple is opening up a new spot in Slatersville Plaza on Victory Highway.

According to owners Heather and John Branchaud, the new location has a few perks that the old one did not.

“We’re excited he’s going to have lunch now as well, so we’ll be open until 2 p.m. everyday which we weren’t before” Heather told ABC6 News.

As for the future, the owners have some other ideas up their sleeve. “We want to have beer and wine later on. We’ll have mimosas in the mornings” John added.

The new location is expected to open this fall.
