Columbus Day Weekend on Federal Hill

"Al Fresco on the Hill" expanded for holiday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A different celebration of Columbus Day weekend this year.  Covid-19 restrictions forcing the cancellation of the usual feast.

Instead, “Al Fresco on the Hill” will take its place with extended hours and days.  The Hill will be honoring Italian heritage  all weekend with special menus and entertainment.

Hours will be: Friday from 5-11pm; Saturday and Sunday 11am-11pm; and Monday 11am -10pm.

If you plan on going, you must follow state guidelines for masks and distancing.

“Al Fresco on the Hill” started back in June as a way to help restaurants in the pandemic.  They are allowed to set up tables on sections of Atwells Avenue to allow for more outdoor dining space.
