Connecticut man arrested by Glocester police on narcotics charges

GLOCESTER, R.I. (WLNE)- A speeding violation resulted in the arrest of a Connecticut man for possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, Glocester police announced Tuesday.

At 5:15 p.m. on Monday, David Vasbinder, 38, from East Woodstock, Connecticut was pulled over and found to be the subject of an outstanding warrant from 2006. During their search, police seized 5.5 ounces of crystal methamphetamine and 4 ounces of THC Oil.

Vasbinder is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine Schedule II with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Schedule I THC Oil.

Vasbinder was arraigned in Warwick District Court and held without bail. He was on Federal Probation from a 2019 arrest for distribution of Methamphetamine.
