Controversial death of Hopkinton teen ruled a suicide

The controversial death of Mikayla Miller has been ruled a suicide by the Massachusetts Medical Examiner.

According to the medical examiner, the cause of death was asphyxia by hanging.

The search for answers in Miller’s death prompted a vigil in town as activists accused the district attorney of a cover up.

Now civil rights Attorney Ben Crump who represented George Floyd’s family in Minneapolis is joining Mikayla’s mother Wednesday to discuss the case.

The District Attorney is making it clear that the case is not closed and will continue to explore every investigative angle necessary.
