Cool start, but quick to warm up
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) –Chilly start to our day, but we warm up quickly. Mild temps for today but by mid week a cold front moves through cooling us down to the 60’s for the rest of the week.
Today we have a west wind (10-15mph) that will help the temps warm up.
Tomorrow, even warmer, but the winds do increase as well and our humidity levels will be a bit lower has put us in an elevated fire weather watch.
We stay dry as the cold front moves through overnight into Wednesday morning, but a few showers are expected north of us towards Boston.
For RI and eastern Mass- we are looking to stay dry. Our next chance for rain will be this weekend.
