Cooler pattern continues across Southern New England

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) — The weather seemed like it didn’t know what it wanted to do on Tuesday.

We woke up to clouds, then we soaked in full sunshine towards lunchtime before more clouds and even showers popped up during the afternoon.

Expect a similar rundown on Wednesday, only any showers should be scarce. Temperatures will once again sit in the upper 50 at best.

A relatively weak and quick-moving cold front will bring more showers Wednesday night into Thursday morning, but Thursday afternoon looks pretty good.

Friday is my pick of the week – sun giving way to high clouds throughout the day and seasonable highs in the low 60s. High pressure sitting offshore will slowly slide away Friday night,

The weekend forecast has been a conundrum over the past few days. As of the latest guidance, will go cloudy with showers Saturday into Saturday night, possibly lingering into early Sunday. But the majority of Sunday has trended better, with possibly even some breaks of sun. Both days will be cool and breezy. Things may change yet again, so….
