COPS: Cooler Found in Times Square, Not a Threat
NEW YORK (AP) – NYPD bomb squad says cooler in Times Square not a threat, opens streets to traffic.
NEW YORK (AP) – Police are investigating the discovery of a suspicious package at New York City's Times Square.
Police say the package is at 46th Street and Broadway, a few blocks from where a smoking SUV and failed car bomb was found Saturday night.
Television footage show several streets cleared of car traffic. Police didn't immediately provide further details.
