COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) – Over a hundred people who live in the Harris Mill Lofts  in Coventry are blaming their serious health issues on their home

There’s at least 4 complaints pending in state and federal court against the developer, Brady Sullivan.

In one case, a resident alleges gnats swarmed their unit, feasting on mold in the ceiling.

Others say living there gave them allergies and respiratory problems, severe nosebleeds, rashes, and migraines.

But at a town council meeting in March, the issue was tabled.

Now, Senator Lou Raptakis is pushing to get the issue back in front of the council.

"Their claim was there’s nothing going on. I mean this building was given a certificate of occupancy – what happened? Was it properly inspected? What happened here?"

The spokesperson for developer Brady Sullivan fired back, saying the company’s

taken complaints seriously, and paid for independent testing that’s found mold levels to be acceptable.
