Coventry Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle accident in North Kingstown, leaves a Coventry man dead.

Clifford White was driving his 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle, in the parking lot of Perfect Nails on Post Road, when he lost control and struck a fire hydrant. The impact of the crash caused the motorcycle to split in two.

White was treated on scene by the North Kingstown Fire Department, and taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

The North Kingstown Police continue to investigate the accident, but police say that speed was a factor in the accident. Police also tell ABC6 News that White was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
