The Delta Variant of the Coronavirus has now reached all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
South Dakota was the final state for the variant to be detected and it reported a case on Tuesday.
Health experts worry the more transmissible variant will spread in areas with low vaccination rates.
They also want more young people to get the vaccine.
The CDC says people ages 12 to 29 account for a third of the COVID-19 hospitalization since May.
