Cranston firefighters make quick work of reported house fire

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Fire Department made quick work of a reported house fire Sunday evening.
ABC6 News crews where on-scene where first responders were wrapping up the scene.
Water could be seen puddled up in the Highland Street home’s driveway and smoke damage was observed along the roofline of the house.
Cranston police confirmed to ABC6 News that the fire began in the rear of the home and spread upwards.
Police said nobody was injured.
Information regarding the cause of the fire was not immediately released.
ABC6 News reached out to Cranston fire officials about the incident but have yet to hear back.
