Cranston police identify body found near bike path
CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE)- Cranston Police confirmed to ABC6 that they found a man’s body in a wooded area Friday.
The body was found off of a bike path near Oaklawn Ave. and Wilbur Ave.
Police say that the person was 61-year-old Gary J. Merritt.
Cranston police do not believe there to be any foul play involved in his death.
