Cranston police hold ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department said they hosted a “Coffee with a Cop” event at a local Dunkin’ Saturday morning.

Members of the community were invited to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in the community.

The department said they were especially honored to have met 102-year-old World War II  Veteran, Don Mellor.

They further extended thanks to the crew and management of the Garden City Dunkin’ for their support of outreach efforts.
