Crash into utility pole in Warwick causes temporary power outages

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — About 150 Warwick residents were without power on Thursday morning after a crash into a utility pole.

Warwick police said a driver crashed into a pole at about 1:30 a.m. on Oakland Beach Avenue.

The driver was not injured.

Police said the pole was damaged and will likely have to be replaced.

Power was restored for most Warwick residents by 8:30 a.m.
