Crenshaw, Fowler, Villegas Added To June CVS Charity Classic

Three PGA TOUR PROS COMMIT To 2011 CVS CAREMARK CHARITY CLASSIC

Golf Legend and Two Young Guns Added to Tournament Roster

WOONSOCKET, Rhode Island (May 25, 2011) – Golfing legend Ben Crenshaw and PGA TOUR young guns Rickie Fowler and Camilo Villegas are the latest PGA stars to join the notable 2011 CVS Caremark Charity Classic roster.  The annual charity golf tournament will be held June 19-21 at Rhode Island Country Club.

Crenshaw, a World Golf Hall of Fame member, will be making his first appearance at the CVS Caremark Charity Classic.  Crenshaw joins an impressive list of golf legends who have graced the tournament roster through the years.  This 19-time PGA Tour champion will bring his celebrated putting game to the Rhode Island Country Club greens.

Making a return appearance is Fowler, the 2010 PGA TOUR rookie of the year.  A fan favorite, Fowler enjoyed one of the largest galleries throughout last year's tournament.  Also returning is 2008 CVS Caremark Charity Classic champion Villegas who is making his fourth appearance in the popular event.  Fowler and Villegas are featured in a tournament billboard in downtown Providence, Rhode Island.

“We're pleased to welcome Ben to the CVS Caremark Charity Classic for the first time and are delighted Rickie and Camilo will be joining us once again,” said Eileen Howard Boone, Tournament Chairwoman of the CVS Caremark Charity Classic.  “Fans are in for a memorable experience as they watch the outstanding group of golfers we've assembled for this year's tournament in an up-close-and-personal setting.”
