Fire in three-story Pawtucket home leaves 10 people displaced

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- Fire crews battled an intense fire in a multi-floor Pawtucket home Thursday night.

ABC6 News Crews arrived to the heavy scene on Dunnell Avenue to see multiple fire trucks occupying Dunnell and West Avenue surrounding the house.

Pawtucket fire confirmed the fire was knocked down in the three-story home.

Captain Richard Taylor said the building sustained heavy smoke damage to the third floor, and water damage to the second and first floor.

10 occupants were displaced from the home, but no injuries were caused by the fire.

Four adults are five children are among those displaced, according to The American Red Cross.

City and State Fire Marshals are currently conducting investigations to determine the cause, Captain Richard Taylor explained the fire was contained to the kitchen area.
