Crews put out house fire in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE): The Providence Fire Department put out a house fire on Wendell Street on Saturday night.

Deputy Fire Chief Steve Capracotta told ABC6 News a total of 14 people live in the home. Everyone inside the home made it out safely, with no injuries.

Crews responded to the fire around 8 p.m. Capracotta said the fire started on the second floor and spread to the third floor.

According to the American Red Cross they are assisting ten families, which include 12 adults and 2 children.
