Crews respond to fire on 95 North in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A large cloud of smoke could be seen from 95 North in Providence early Monday morning.

Heavy police and fire presence responded to the blaze on Dryden Lane and Printery Street behind the brick buildings, under the Branch Ave exit ramp.

Several Providence Fire Department personnel actively worked to put out the fire.

An arson investigator was on the scene, but the cause of the fire still remains unknown at this time.

One man that later reported the fire at the station appeared to have minor injuries and was reported by rescue, according to the Providence Fire Department.
