WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- CVS announced on Wednesday that the company would be making appointments available for adolescents ages 12-15.

The company made the announcement shortly after health advisors endorsed the Pfizer vaccine for the age group.

Appointments will be available as early as Thursday at locations across the nation.

Those looking to schedule an appointment can do so on the company’s website or on its app.

“Offering vaccinations to younger populations at thousands of locations across the country brings us one step closer to prevailing over the pandemic,” said Karen Lynch, President and Chief Executive officer, CVS Health.
