Dartmouth Animal Control searching for owners of stowaway cat

Dartmouth Animal Control

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE)- The Dartmouth Animal Control shared on their Facebook page that a cat hid inside a vehicle engine compartment while the car was traveling, ending the trip at their facility.

The cat traveled from the area of Sturgis Drive in Dartmouth all the way to Cumberland Farms on Ashley Boulevard before being found.

Animal Control posted a picture of the black cat with a fish collar on hoping to reunite the cat with its owners.

They also wanted to remind pet owners that during these winter months there are times where cats attempt to find warmth alongside vehicle engines, so hit the hood of your car a few times to scare them out before starting your engine.
