Dartmouth man killed in motorcycle crash

DARTMOUTH, MA (WLNE) – A Dartmouth man was killed Saturday evening in a motorcycle crash.

Dartmouth Police responded to the area of 897 Smith Neck Road shortly after 7:00 p.m. Friday for reports of a crash involving a single motorcycle.

Officers on scene located the operator and identified him as Gary Casmira, 51, of Dartmouth.

Police said Casmira was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he later died due to injuries sustained in the accident.

The accident is currently under investigation.
