DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) – Dartmouth High School’s varsity boys soccer team is under quarantine after they came in contact with a student who tested positive for COVID-19, according to the superintendent.

Instead of postponing games, the school’s junior varsity team competed in matches that were on the Varsity team’s schedule.

That resulted in losses to Bridgewater-Raynham (4-1; Oct. 21), West Bridgewater (6-2; Oct. 23) and Bishop Stang (4-1; Oct. 26).

Dartmouth (2-3-2) still has to play at Durfee on Wednesday and visits Brockton on Friday before the Varsity team can return from quarantine.

The students will be coming back to school on Nov. 2 after a 14-day quarantine.
