Dartmouth police identify shoplifter with the public’s help in under 24 hours

DARTMOUTH, MASS. (WLNE) — The Dartmouth Police Department said they located a shoplifter with the help from the public on Thursday.

Police said their suspect, who they named a “Duck Dynasty wannabe,” reportedly stole about $400 worth of merchandise from a local retailer.

The department took to social media asking for help identifying their suspect who they shared a photo of.

Later that day, Dartmouth police shared that they were able to identify the suspect. They said his name is Ronnie.

No further information was immediately released.
