Dartmouth Police identify suspect in school bomb threat case

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) – Dartmouth Police have identified the suspect in a bomb threat at Dartmouth High School.

Police responded to the high school around 10:20 a.m. on March 1st to investigate a bomb threat written inside a stall in one of the school’s female restrooms.

The school was placed on lockdown during the investigation.

Through the use of video footage provided by the Dartmouth School Department, Police interviewed several females who used the restroom during the time frame in which the threat was written.

As a result of the investigation, a juvenile female confessed to writing the threat.

Criminal charges against the suspect currently pending, and the school department has been notified so that appropriate action may be taken.
