Dartmouth woman seriously injured after being hit by car

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — A 60-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Dartmouth on Saturday night.

Police were called for a pedestrian crash just before 10 p.m. in the area of State and Tucker roads.

A 60-year-old Dartmouth woman was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital for head trauma.

Police said the driver, an 18-year-old New Bedford man, was not injured and was cooperative with responding officers.

No charges were immediately filed.
