Davies and NEIT hand over “keys” of a new toy car to child with limited mobility

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE)- William M. Davies Jr. Career and Technical High School has a partnership with New England Institute of Technology to work on the “Go, Baby, Go!” program.

The program provides adaptive toy cars for children with mobility impairments to help children navigate the world in a way not accessible to them before.

Flood Auto Group funded the cars and equipment needed to make the modifications for each children’s unique needs while Davies Pre-Engineering students completed the modifications as a part of their curriculum.

On Thursday an event was held to present Logan Houle with his own pair of “keys”, shaped like a Ford F-150 and fitted to all his needs, ABC6 had the pleasure of attending the event.
