DCYF, Warwick Police investigating death of a child

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – An investigation is underway in Warwick after the sudden death of a 9-year-old.

Police got a medical call at a home on Oakland Beach Avenue Thursday night for a child with a previous medical condition.

The child was taken to Kent hospital, where they were later pronounced dead

Warwick police and the DCYF are investigating.
