Defamation lawsuit filed by militia group involved in highway standoff in Massachusetts dismissed

WAKEFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) – A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by the group of militia members who blocked off part of a Massachusetts highway in early July.

The ‘Rise of the Moors’ filed a defamation lawsuit against Massachusetts State Police, a state judge, and several media outlets following the arrests of several members during that armed standoff with police on I-95.

The militia members are still behind bars in Massachusetts.
